Highly Capable Engineer
Role/Responsibilities:
1. Interacts with customers to establish design
specifications and program timing requirements for glob program. Develops and
maintains program timelines.
2. Applies expert knowledge in the evaluation and
development of products for optimum performance and manufacturability.
3. Provides project management of new product
introductions. Supports APQP process per responsibilities defined in the APQP
procedures.
4. Initiates and manages product and/or process changes as
needed to support customer directives, improve product performance and quality,
resolve manufacturing problems, decrease costs, etc.
5. Solve complex production problems, including machine
set-up and product development.
6. Initiates quotations, work orders and purchase orders
for new product tooling.
7. Prepares all required product documentation or data.
8. Develops, or assists in the development of, Monroe
policies, procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
1. Education: university graduate with business major or computer science major
2. Experience: 3 years relevant experience in the industry. Experience with plastics is preferred.
3. Have a minimum of 3 years of global program management
experience.
4. Native Mandarin; Proficient English.
5. Willing to participate in international conference calls
at night.
6. Professional communication and interpersonal skills,
excellent leadership and a good team player.
7. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel
and Microsoft Project.
8. Good analytical and planning skills
9. Qualified to travel internationally.
10. A detailed, responsible and goal oriented personality is preferred.
